WHAT IS COMPOUNDING?
The art of providing individualized patient care through the preparation of patient specific medication.

The emergence of new medical information and therapies has made it evident that not every patient should receive the same medicinal treatment. Pharmaceutical companies produce medicine to treat the most common diseases in dosage forms that work the best for the majority of the population.

Few alternatives are available to those that can not tolerate the dosage form or the dose if it is not the correct strength. With the art of compounding, special trained pharmacists can appropriately mix a patient’s medication to the proper strength and/or form.

Our concern for the health of every individual has allowed us to be involved in making patient specific medication for neurology, allergy and asthma patients, bio-identical hormone replacement patients, infertile patients, pediatrics, those susceptible to preterm delivery, dentists’ offices and our friends at the zoo.

As a compounding pharmacy, we want to work with you and your Doctor to help you find the medication in the strength and form that works for you. We can prepare medication in capsules, troches, suppositories, suspensions, lollipops, creams, gels, injections and inhalations. We are also equipped to make sterile products. Compounding is how the mixing of medication originated, but we have gotten away from it with the presence of the large pharmaceutical companies.
